Most AI video tools give you a prompt box and a finished file. Formats Studio gives your agent a real editor instead: a multi-track timeline, captions, graphics, looks and exports, driven by the agent you already use and reviewed by you, one edit at a time.
Ask for the edit
Describe the video you want in the agent panel. Your agent reads the project and its transcript, asks about what it cannot infer, then cuts, captions and reframes on a timeline you can see. With Review edits on, each change waits for your approval; with Auto-edit, local edits apply and stay one ⌘Z away.
Skills that know video
Formats ships twelve skills for the work people actually do: podcast clips, talking-head edits, social shorts, promos, explainers, montages and more. Pick one from the library to start a request, or let your agent choose. With Full access, it also follows the skills you already keep for it, such as your house style.
A complete editor, not a prompt box
Everything the agent does is ordinary editing you can refine: split and ripple on a multi-track timeline, captions in 85+ styles that you edit like a doc, looks, color wheels and curves, audio EQ and fades, graphics with editable controls, and exports up to 4K without a watermark.
Generate what is missing
When a shot does not exist, generate it from the Generate panel or ask your agent: video from Veo, Kling, Seedance, Wan and Gemini Omni Flash, images from Nano Banana, GPT Image, Seedream and FLUX, music from Lyria and Eleven Music, sound effects and voiceover. Every price is shown before you start.
